Product Overview

MEAREG offers the Rotary Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (Rotary RTO), an advanced solution for industrial volatile organic compound (VOC) abatement. Designed for medium to high concentrations of exhaust gas, this system delivers reliable purification and efficient heat recovery for demanding production lines.

Working Principle

The Rotary RTO directs exhaust gas into specific sections of the combustion chamber through the continuous rotation, indexing, and uniform distribution of a rotary valve. A sealing mechanism divides the rotor into inlet and outlet sections.

The system utilizes 12 fixed heat storage chambers filled with honeycomb ceramics.

• Preheating: Exhaust gas is preheated in 5 inlet chambers.

• Oxidation: Gas enters the oxidation chamber, where combustion raises the temperature to the oxidation threshold.

• Exhaust & Purge: Purified high-temperature gas is cooled in 5 exhaust chambers, while 1 chamber performs purging and 1 remains idle.

• Continuous Cycle: The patented rotary valve switches the gas flow continuously, ensuring a smooth circulation process.

• Optimal Airflow Control: Inverter-controlled (PT) auxiliary fan blades and dampers adapt to changing air volumes.

• Minimal Pressure Variation: The purge fan and rotary design keep the flow path open, ensuring stable operation.
