Product Overview

The MEAREG MG-RTO-S is a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) integrated with a Steam Recovery System. During the high-temperature oxidation of VOCs, the RTO releases excess heat. This system recovers that heat to generate steam, improving overall energy efficiency.

How the Steam Recovery Works

1. Heat Absorption:The excess heat released during VOC oxidation is first absorbed by a water-cooled wall through radiation heat transfer.
2. Steam Generation: The water in the water-cooled wall boils and vaporizes, generating a large amount of steam.
3. Steam Separation:The steam enters the steam drum for water-steam separation.
4. Superheating:The separated saturated steam enters the superheater, where it continues to absorb heat from the furnace top, horizontal flue, and tail flue through radiation and convection.
5. Output: The superheated steam reaches the required working temperature for process use.
