Product Overview

The MEAREG MG-RTO-Z Series is an advanced combined system integrating a Zeolite Rotor Concentrator with a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO). It is specifically designed for the efficient treatment of large-volume, low-concentration volatile organic compounds (VOCs). By concentrating the exhaust gas before oxidation, this system significantly reduces fuel consumption while maintaining a high purification efficiency.

Working Principle

1. Adsorption & Purification: After pre-treatment (removing dust, oil mist, and particulates), the low-concentration exhaust gas enters the Zeolite Rotor. The organic pollutants are adsorbed by the zeolite molecular sieve. The purified gas (about 85%–95% of the total airflow) is safely discharged into the atmosphere.
2. Desorption & Regeneration:A small portion of the gas (about 5%–15%) passes through a cooling zone and is heated by a heat exchanger to the desorption temperature of 180–220°C. This hot air flows into the desorption zone, where the VOCs are stripped from the rotor, regenerating the zeolite. The high-concentration VOCs are then sent to the RTO.
3. High-Temperature Oxidation & Heat Recovery:The concentrated VOCs enter the RTO and are oxidized at high temperatures (≥800°C) into harmless CO₂ and H₂O. The high-temperature flue gas passes through honeycomb ceramic media, where 95% of the heat is absorbed and stored. The gas is then discharged at a temperature close to the RTO inlet. By switching valve directions or using a rotary mechanism, the system alternates between heat storage and release, achieving highly efficient heat recovery.

Process Flow (System Components)

• Low-concentration gas stream:Water cooler → Dry-type filter → Adsorption fan → Zeolite rotor (adsorption zone) → Purified gas discharged via exhaust fan and chimney.
• Desorption gas stream:Fresh air → Filter → Heat exchanger (heated) → Zeolite rotor (desorption zone).
• High-concentration gas stream:Desorption zone → Mixing box → RTO main fan → RTO chamber (equipped with burner and combustion fan).
• Exhaust & Recovery:RTO exhaust gas → Heat exchanger (reheats desorption air) → Chimney.
